I am just back from having fun, fun, fun with my best friend from high school. Spent the week getting up at noon and going to bed 2:00 a.m. ish. We ate delicious food, had manicures, shopped till we dropped, took on one home improvement project, went on beautiful spring walks with her dogs, caught up on giggles, news, views and belly laughs!
There is nothing like being with someone who has loved you for years and years. Coleen and I go back to Junior High! She was a reserved young miss then. I practically had to stick her pigtails in ink to get her to talk to me!
Why am I telling you all of this?
Friendship, laughter and FUN pumps up those tired adrenal glands and plumps out those feel-good hormones like nothin' else.
If you are on this page, consider this your call to action! Take time today to make plans to schedule in a hefty dose of friendship, laughter and FUN this weekend.
Then, tell me all about it!!!!
I have a couple jewels to share with you from my time chez Coleen. I am ordering all of them today!

Please go directly to The Succulent Wife's Blog to read Anne-Marie Kovacs's review of The Fatigue Be Gone! Jumpstart e-Guide.
Apparently The Succulent Wife is no stranger to fatigue.
"I had fallen victim to extreme fatigue and it took me almost a year to figure it out. What was this inexorable fatigue? Was I depressed ... Was I overwhelmed, overtaxed, overstressed?"
Anne-Marie's journey into and out of fatigue encourages you to not give up before you get your miracle. Her recommendation of the Fatigue Be Gone Guide "Had I known what to look for myself, as this easy-to-follow guide suggests, I would have saved myself months of frustration ..." is an honor.
Thank you Anne-Marie!

Saturday I planned to:
1. Work on Taxes.
2. Work on my DogCaptions Fundraiser Program.
3. Clean the house (with M. by my side.)
4. Grocery Shopping
5. Yoga Class
6. Re caulk the bathroom shower.
(All of this in addition to normal daily activities.)
What I did was:
1. Yoga Class
2. Grocery shopping where we discovered our grocery store was no longer stocking a favorite red wine from a local winery. To support our community we HAD to go ...
3. Wine tasting! Which led into ...
4. Visiting with my step-daughter and then ...
5. Home in time for din din and time for bed!
Somedays I make such serious plans and God laughs and sends me off to play instead!
So, today my fatigue is fun-related! Then, some of it stems from the realization that I still have many tedious hours ahead to complete my work and taxes by St. Patty's day ... Bleh. Sigh.
How are you doing today?!

I love to dance and it is one of the fastest and easiest ways to boost energy and break out of any kind of slump (writer's block, tedious chore blues, loneliness & anxiety.)
Years ago when I ended a major relationship I was so down, lonely and disconnected. Depression is exhausting - mentally, physically and spiritually.
The last thing I wanted was to "rebound" and fill that gaping hole with another loser relationship.
I signed up for Salsa Classes.
Long story short, I got the touch and connection I craved, 2 min with this man and 2 min with that man! I made a fabulous new group of friends. We were all there for the same reason, just had different stories. This Friday night class was something I could look forward to and it brought back the simple joy of TIGF!
Physically I worked out the kinks in what had been a chronic back pain and danced my way back into a supple spine. Emotionally I built back my self-esteem (Salsa Dancing isn't easy and positive non-threatening attention from 2 minute men was great!) I strutted and swayed my stuff right out of depression and fed my worn out adrenal glands the "right stuff", FUN!
If you are feeling blah, depressed or down right exhausted, your cure could start with a dance class. Look at your life. If you don't see a weekly date with joy, fun, and friends all the pills and massages in the world are not going to make a difference. Joy is part of the Fatigue Be Gone! prescription.
Let's dance, dance, dance! (And post later and tell me all about it!)

According to Dr. Stephen Post, author, Why Good Things Happen to Good People: How to Live a Longer, Healthier, Happier Life by the Simple Act of Giving, "Stress related health problems improves after performing kind acts. Helping reverses feelings of depression, supplies social contact, and decreases feelings of hostility and isolation that can cause stress, overeating, ulcers etc. (like fatigue.) A drop in stress may, for some people, decrease the constriction within the lungs that leads to asthma attacks."
Whew. That is a lot of good that comes out of doing good.
Here is one such article, very applicable to our topic.
Are You Constantly Tired? You May Be Suffering from Adrenal Fatigue

Do you have a type "A" personality? Do you feel that you never do enough although everyone tells you to slow down and smell the roses? Do you eat a poor diet, have too much stress or get inadequate sleep? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you might be suffering from adrenal fatigue.
Research shows that nearly 80 percent of Americans suffer from adrenal fatigue. Yes, you read that right - an astounding 80 percent of the U.S. population is affected by adrenal fatigue syndrome.

when you're in the audience, it's a comedy."
A girlfriend and I was talking about some pretty tough stuff, tough love and laughing uproariously. Why? Because that's the magic of friendship. It can turn the most bitter pill into a bag of delicious red and purple jelly beans.
And the reason there are so many people on planet earth is God's way of giving us as many opportunities for friendship as possible.
If you're reading this ... go call a girlfriend about what's bugging you. Get off stage, move directly into the audience and shine some light on it. Watch it melt away in a funny way.
On the other side --- if you just couldn't be any happier in your life than you are already I have news for you. You can be happier. Go call a friend in need and take them into the audience with you.
Life is short even if we live to old age. Let's be joyful about it.

When you call you will be connected with a prayer minister who will pray for and with you. You will continue to receive prayers for the following 30 days and may also receive a prayer in the mail or by Email. (I chose mail because I want to hold onto something tangible.)
The Unity School of Christianity, the world headquarters of the Unity movement, was founded in 1889 by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore after Mrs. Fillmore's remarkable healing using prayer and affirmations.
I can’t tell you how good I feel now and what an awesome way that is to start the week … Here is a prayer I would like to share with you today.
May you be filled with loving kindness.
May you be well.
May you be peaceful and at ease.
May you be happy.
