I said I would post one of mine --- here goes!

Playing with my pups. I easily do this everyday. Here are scenes from a recent "dress up" play date.

Day 3 - Mail Thanks & A Smile

Day 3. Friend-mail. Have you ever noticed the feel-good-buzz you get when you open a personal note from a friend (vs. a bill, a notice or other random "junk-mail?") You get the same little buzz when you think about someone, write a note to someone and mail it off ...

Yep. There is nothing quite like friend-mail. Today, take a moment to write a quick note to a friend. Let him or her know you're thinking about them --- appreciating them ---- thinking of that fun or special time you spent with them --- remembering a snowball fight or a slumber party --- seeing their smile in a new friend --- toasting them ---

Who should you write to? Whoever comes to mind first.

Psst. You can send friend-mail, smile-mail AND raise money for dog and cat rescue when you order DogCaption Cards! Check them out here ... I ordered lots of their "No ... I insist ... Thank YOU!" card packs to catch up on my holiday gifts and favors.

It's D-Day. DMV Bingo Day.

Yep. My driver's license expired on my birthday -- 11 days ago.

How? Why?

Easy. I filled out and mailed in the renewal form a month before b-day, now d-day. I didn't check the boxes on the back of the form. It took almost two weeks to get the application back in the mail, rejected because of those missing checkmarks. By then I had thrown out the paper with the secret "pin code" that would have allowed me to register on-line.

Then, I just gave up.

So today is the day. Right now is that morning.

Oh, and did I mention that somehow my car registration expired in April? The gate guard at Quantico brought that to my husband’s attention this week. Michael suggested that I go ahead and renew both cars while I'm at it ... this tip was offered with a sly grin.

So I get to play DMV Bingo, twice.

Disorganization is an ugly thing. If you are a hare-brained person like me - get help. One place is at www.OnLineOrganizing.com.

Well - gotta go. Do you feel like sharing something silly and completely avoidable that you brought down upon yourself recently? I'd feel better if you did.

Viveca

P.S. I will be BACK! And, I'll post a smoothie recipe and a "greens" recipe for our Monday Fruit and Veggie Day!

Fun, Fun, FUN!

I am just back from having fun, fun, fun with my best friend from high school. Spent the week getting up at noon and going to bed 2:00 a.m. ish. We ate delicious food, had manicures, shopped till we dropped, took on one home improvement project, went on beautiful spring walks with her dogs, caught up on giggles, news, views and belly laughs!

There is nothing like being with someone who has loved you for years and years. Coleen and I go back to Junior High! She was a reserved young miss then. I practically had to stick her pigtails in ink to get her to talk to me!

Why am I telling you all of this?

Friendship, laughter and FUN pumps up those tired adrenal glands and plumps out those feel-good hormones like nothin' else.

If you are on this page, consider this your call to action! Take time today to make plans to schedule in a hefty dose of friendship, laughter and FUN this weekend.

Then, tell me all about it!!!!

--------------------------

I have a couple jewels to share with you from my time chez Coleen. I am ordering all of them today!

Weeweechu

Here's a little something to perk up those adrenal glands!

It's a romantic full moon, when Pedro said, "Hey, mamacita, let's do Weeweechu."

Oh no, not now, let's look at the moon!" said Rosita.

Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I do Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pedro begged.

"But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon." replied Rosita.

Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me."

Rosita looked at Pedro and said, "OK, one time, we'll do Weeweechu."

Pedro grabbed his guitar and they both sang............

"Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year........

Laughter Yoga - Energy Boost Tip for Today!

I started off yesterday in a state of high amusement. In fact I laughed on and off all and I felt GREAT and full of energy.

What happened? My husband Michael was squeaking when he walked! It reminded me of the Seinfeld episode where George gets a new suit to impress a potential boss and his board. Did you see that? Anyway because he is chubby his thighs rub and the fabric of the suit pants made a whoosh whoosh whoosh sound that had everyone trying to figure out where that sound was coming from!

If you saw that episode you'll be chucking with me. If not, sorry "you had to be there."

Michael was squeaking when he walked because plastic badges on his lanyard were rubbing together. Today he put on on them in a pocket so I have to find something else to laugh about!

And I found it ... Laughter Yoga. This article is a short must read! Click here
